One West Point

Project

City & Docklands tasked RareKind with developing the full creative vision for One West Point, a landmark residential development in North Acton. With over 100 floors across four buildings, the challenge was to craft a unifying visual identity that reflected the character of the development while offering unique experiences across individual spaces.

Process

RareKind acted as Art and Creative Directors, overseeing everything from large-scale foyer murals and corridor artworks to wayfinding, signage, door number plates, and sculpture. We commissioned and directed a wide range of artists—Bonzai, Sophie Mess, Jiver, Abi Everett, Gary Stranger—to create murals and sculptures that would bring warmth, colour, and meaning to the shared spaces. RareKind also curated gallery walls throughout the residential buildings, showcasing a mix of contemporary painting, photography, and print by artists including Will Gates, Louise Howard, Jonas Ranson, and Declan Driver.

Outcome

The result is a richly layered visual environment that redefines what contemporary residential art can be. From foyer to penthouse, every touchpoint contributes to a bold, cohesive identity that enhances residents’ daily experience and reflects the creative energy of the surrounding Park Royal neighbourhood. Additional features, including murals for the gym, café, long bar, and car park, are currently in development.
